MinMax helps you find fast-food meals near you that fit a calorie cap. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what control you have over your data.
The MinMax app is operated by KGH Analytics LLC ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@eatminmax.com.
When you grant permission, we use your device's approximate location to find fast-food chains nearby. We send those coordinates to our server only to fetch results — we do not store your location permanently and we do not link it to your identity.
Saved meals, the meals you mark as eaten, your daily calorie goal, your dietary criterion, and the chains you've hidden are stored on your device and (if you're signed into iCloud) in your private iCloud key-value storage. We do not have access to any of this data — it never leaves your Apple ecosystem.
We use PostHog to understand how features are used so we can improve the app. PostHog generates an anonymous identifier per install; we do not collect your name, email, or any directly identifying information. You can opt out by deleting all MinMax data from Settings → Delete all MinMax data.
For diagnostics and crash handling, we may receive your device model, iOS version, app version, and locale. This information is not linked to your identity.
MinMax shows ads through Google AdMob. We serve only non-personalized (contextual) ads — we do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), and we do not show ads based on a profile of your activity across other apps or websites. To deliver ads, limit how often you see the same one, and prevent fraud, Google receives limited technical data such as a device identifier, your coarse IP-based region, and basic in-app interaction events. This data is not linked to your identity. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services and AdMob's policies.
We use the following service providers strictly to power the app:
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your data for personalized advertising or to track you across other apps or websites. The only advertising-related sharing is the limited, non-personalized technical data described above.
MinMax is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we'll address it.
The app is operated from the United States. If you use the app from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
